Dr. Vivien De Guzman of Poblacion, Mangaldan has been promoted as the new Education Program Supervisor under the Department of Education Region One’s Human Resource Development Division.
“This is God’s blessing and I will manifest my gratitude by working hard to contribute to the achievement of the programs and projects of DepEd,” said Dr. De Guzman in a message.
Dr. De Guzman has been a teacher for almost twenty years at the biggest school in the region, Mangaldan National High School. After teaching, she was promoted as school administrator starting as the Assistant Principal II of Mabilao National High School in San Fabian, Pangasinan then Assistant Secondary Principal of Mangaldan Integrated School Special Education Center in Barangay Bantayan, Mangaldan.
She was then promoted as a secondary school principal at San Juan National High School in San Manuel, Pangasinan before getting promoted to the new position.
Dr. De Guzman’s former school head Dr. Jupiter Petilla of Mangaldan Integrated School SPED Center was one of the first persons to greet her on Sunday.
“Congratulations to Dr. Vivien Rolloda De Guzman for your promotion to Education Program Supervisor, HRDD of DepEd Regional Office No.1. Your MISSC Family is truly proud of you. Goodluck to your new journey! God bless you and keep you always!,” said Dr. Petilla.
Dr. De Guzman was also my former speech and development reading teacher during my freshman year at Special Science Class Program of Mangaldan National High School.
As the chairman of the Committee on Awards and Recognition in the Sangguniang Bayan of Mangaldan, I extend my warmest congratulations to Dr. De Guzman. Mangaldan is indeed proud of her!
